Ballet
BALLET IS A HIGHLY RECOMMENDED CLASS FOR ALL DANCERS BECAUSE IT IS THE BASIS OF ALL FORMS OF DANCE. IT INTEGRATES BODY ALIGNMENT, CONTROL AND GRACE THROUGH MOVEMENT. IT ALSO TEACHES CORRECT POSTURE, PROPER POSTURE AND CARRIAGE.

STUDENTS LEARN HOW TO PERFORM RHYTHMIC AND SYNCOPATED FORMATIONS WITH THEIR FEET. IT IMPROVES COORDINATION AND BALANCE IN YOUNG DANCERS AS WELL AS CHALLENGES MORE ADVANCED DANCERS WITH ITS INTRICACY.

Jazz
JAZZ IS AN EXTREMELY ENJOYABLE FORM OF DANCE WHICH INVOLVES BOTH UPPER AND LOWER BODY MOVEMENT, AS WELL AS FOCUSING ON INCREASING FLEXIBILITY OF ALL MUSCLES. THIS CLASS IS FUN AND UPBEAT, AND ALWAYS A CROWD FAVORITE AT OUR SHOWCASES!

Lyrical
LYRICAL ENCOMPASSES THE BASIC FORMS OF BALLET AND JAZZ. LYRICS OF THE SONG ARE DEPICTED THROUGH FACIAL EXPRESSIONS, LEVEL CHANGES, AND CREATIVE MOVEMENTS. THE STUDENT MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE YEAR OF BALLET TRAINING AND ENROLLED CONCURRENTLY IN A BALLET CLASS.

Hip Hop
HIP HOP IS A SPECIFIC TYPE OF JAZZ MOVEMENT TO "FUNKIER" MUSIC WITH MOVEMENTS AND STEPS TO MATCH THE QUALITY OF MUSIC. THE FOCUS OF THIS CLASS IS LEARNING THE STEPS OF POPULAR STREET DANCING. MOVEMENTS ARE SHARP AND PRECISE, AND COULD INCLUDE MANY TRICKS AND SKILLS.

SOLOS AND PRIVATE LESSONS ARE DESIGNED FOR STUDENTS TO SHOWCASE THEIR INDIVIDUAL PROGRESS, OR TO WORK ON PARTICULAR SKILLS AT THEIR OWN PACE.THE STUDENTS MUST TAKE A TECHNIQUE CLASS IN THE SAME AREA AS THE SOLO IF THEY ARE LEARNING A ROUTINE TO PERFORM IN OUR SHOWCASES.

Super Stars
THIS CLASS IS DESIGNED FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE IN A WHEELCHAIR OR HAVE A DISABILITY. IN THIS CLASS, STUDENTS WILL LEARN SELF CONFIDENCE, DEDICATION, TEAMWORK, COORDINATION, INDIVIDUALITY, AND THEY WILL ALSO HAVE THE CHANCE TO PERFORM AT THE ANNUAL SHOWCASES! THIS CLASS IS SUPER FUN AND GIVES EVERYONE THE CHANCE TO ENJOY DANCE!

Yoga, Pilates, Barre, Cardio Drumming, Pound
THESE CLASSES ARE ON A DROP IN BASIS, SO WEEKLY ATTENDANCE IS NOT REQUIRED. WE HOLD THESE CLASSES FOR ANYONE AS OUR TEACHER PROVIDES PROPER MODIFICATIONS TO SUPPORT YOUR LEVEL.

YOGA INCORPORATES MEDITATION, MOVEMENT, AND BREATH WORK DESIGNED TO UNIFY THE MIND AND BODY. GUIDED RELAXATION, SUPPORTED SILENT MEDITATION, AND GENTLE MOVEMENT SEQUENCES ARE USED TO ACHIEVE A NICE WORKOUT AND A GREAT STRETCH.
WE OFFER CHAIR YOGA FOR THOSE WHO HAVE VARIOUS PHYSICAL LIMITATIONS, OR THOSE WHO FIND OTHER TYPES OF YOGA CLASSES TOO CHALLENGING. WE ALSO OFFER TODDLER/MOMMY AND ME YOGA CLASSES TOO!

BARRE IS A TONING, BODY WEIGHT LIFTING WORKOUT THAT ENGAGES MUSCLES YOU NORMALLY WOULDN'T TARGET, ONES DEEP INSIDE YOUR BODY THAT SQUATS, LUNGES, AND SIT-UPS DON'T REACH. WITH HIGH REPS AND LOW IMPACT MOVEMENTS, BARRE CHALLENGES ANYONE LOOKING TO FINE TUNE THEIR MUSCLES, WITH NO PRIOR BALLET TRAINING NEEDED.

CARDIO DRUMMING IS A LOW IMPACT WORKOUT THAT ANYONE CAN DO. IT IS A FUN, FAST-PACED WORKOUT THAT INCORPORATES CARDIO AND DRUMMING TO THE RHYTHM OF THE MUSIC. THIS CLASS ENHANCES MOOD, REDUCES STRESS, DEPRESSION, AND ANXIETY. IT CAN IMPROVE COGNITIVE FUNCTION AND MEMORY, WHILE ALSO INCREASING RANGE OF MOTION AND MOBILITY.

PILATES IS A FORM OF EXERCISE WHICH CONCENTRATES ON STRENGTHENING THE BODY WITH AN EMPHASIS ON CORE STRENGTH. THIS HELPS TO IMPROVE GENERAL FITNESS AND OVERALL WELL-BEING. THIS CLASS CONCENTRATES ON POSTURE, FLEXIBILITY, AND BALANCE.

POUND IS A FITNESS CLASS THAT COMBINES CARDIO, STRENGTH TRAINING, AND PILATES WITH DRUMMING TO ACHIEVE A FULL BODY WORKOUT. IT CAN STRENGTHEN AND SCULPT MUSCLES THAT AREN'T FREQUENTLY USED. THIS CLASS CAN IMPROVE RHYTHM, TIMING, COORDINATION, SPEED, AGILITY, AND MUSICALITY.
